I would still recommend Google Photos for Android users though.

To change the white balance I don’t have to go into the color adjustments, there’s a dedicated tab for it. Apple’s Mac Pro has gone for several years without a considerable upgrade or update, but that changes this year. I also prefer the new layout this time around. We’ve got curves for nailing exposure, and then selective color adjustments. I think this is where the new version shines. For the rest, there’s the basic photo editing built into Photos. That should cover any major retouching or editing.

Users will be able to send a photo to a third-party app and have it update in Photos. Support for third-party apps like Photoshop.Access to printing and publishing services from Shutterfly, WhiteWall, Wix, ifolor, Mimeo, and Mpix from inside the app.Loop, bounce, and long exposure Live Photo effects are available. I mean if Apple’s not getting behind this then nobody is, so it’s an obvious update. New 'Memories' categories, like birthdays and babies.Curves and selective color is now available. New filters and ways to adjust your photos. My favorite update is that they’ve brought more advanced editing tools to the front, making it faster to get the right look. If Photos isn’t quick and easy to use then there’s not much point in having it. Modified images may have been edited within Photos which results in a new file being created, and using the normal Export will export that modified file with the later creation date. Note that, in order for your files to have a created date that matches the EXIF 'photo taken' date, you must use Export Unmodified Originals.

The new model was expected originally in 2020, but the spring update to the 13-inch MacBook Pro pushed that.
